1. Who we are
The Disciplined Altar is operated by The Four Stewardships LLC (Augusta, Georgia). “We” means The Four Stewardships LLC; “you” means the person using the app.
2. What we collect
Information you provide: your email at signup, and what you choose to enter — prayers, prayer list, session reflections, and answered-prayer testimonies. Payment information is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Collected automatically: basic technical data (device, browser, IP, feature usage) to operate and secure the app.
3. Sensitive (religious) data and consent
Because this is a prayer app, what you enter may reveal your religious beliefs, which is treated as sensitive (a “special category” under GDPR and “sensitive data” under several US state laws). By choosing to use these features you consent to our processing this information for the sole purpose of providing the app to you. We never sell it and never share it with advertisers. You may withdraw consent anytime by deleting your account or emailing us.
4. How we use your information
Solely to operate the product — to save your prayers and streak, sync across devices, process payments, and send service communications. Marketing emails are opt-in; unsubscribe anytime.
5. Your prayers are yours
What you write at the altar is owner-scoped at the database level so that only your account can read it. You may request an export or deletion of your data at any time.
6. We do not sell or share for advertising
We do not sell your personal information, ever, and we do not use advertising trackers (Meta, TikTok, Google pixels, etc.) that would associate you with this app.
7. Third parties
Supabase — secure storage. Stripe — payments. We share only what is necessary for them to provide their service.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your data, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share, but you may still ask). Residents of US states with privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Washington, and others — and individuals in the EU, UK, and Canada have these rights. 9. International users (EU, UK, Canada)
If you use the app from outside the US, your data is processed and stored in the US. Our legal bases are your consent and performance of our agreement with you. Religious-belief data is processed only with your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent anytime and may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Retention, security & age
We keep your data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, except records we must keep by law. We use industry-standard security, including row-level security scoping your data to your account; no method is 100% secure. The app is for users 18 and older.
